Registration is mandatory and unregistered visitors maybe denied entry. A Physical Government-Issued ID (Emirates ID or Passport) is required for entry.
Registration and Visitation
- All visitors are individually required to pre-register prior to their visit.
- Visitors with entry pass must present their pre-registered QR code at the entrance gate.
- The entry pass must bear the personal information of the visitor, which will be verified against their personal ID
- A thorough security check will be conducted upon arrival.
- People of determination will be given priority at entry.
- Wheelchairs are available upon request.

We kindly ask that visitors to the BAPS Hindu Mandir Abu Dhabi to follow the below guidelines to ensure their visit is safe, enjoyable, and respectful.

No Bottles, Cans, Thermal Containers & Beverages
No Pens
No Luggage and Bags. Cloakrooms are Not Available
Tobacco, ‘Paan’, Cigarettes, E-Cigarettes (vapes) are not allowed
No Food Items/Drinks, Including Water
No Cameras & Video Cameras
No Coolers & Picnic Baskets
No Skateboards, Bicycles & Scooters
Flags with Handles Exceeding 1m, Containing Profanity or Offensive Images are Not Allowed
No Musical Instruments & Amplifiers
No Chair, Seats & Types of Seating
No Remote-controlled Devices, Including Drones
No Firearms, Knives, Scissors & Any Sharp Objects.
No Explosives, Fireworks, Flares & Laser Lights
No Flammable Liquids, Fuel & Gas & Pressurized Containers
No Animals & Pets
No Alcoholic Beverages
No Umbrellas
Any materials or devices deemed by the administration or police to pose a potential hazard or disturbance to the premises or the public may be discarded or confiscated without prior notice.
To maintain the sanctity of the Mandir and its premises, all must adhere to these guidelines even in the car park.
The management and Abu Dhabi Police retain the right to deny entry to any person(s) and remove any person(s) from the mandir complex and parking.
Visitor Dress Code
The BAPS Hindu Mandir is a place of worship, hence requires all visitors to be respectful in their choice of clothing:
- Shorts, skirts above the knee, sleeveless shirts are not allowed.
- Tight-fitting or transparent clothing is not permitted.
- Garments and accessories that are excessively shiny or produce distracting noises should be avoided.
- Headwear and garments adorned with provocative designs, explicit political statements, images, are prohibited.
- Visitors whose attire does not follow these guidelines or is deemed inappropriate by security staff will be denied entry.
- Sarong (long cloths) are available at a cost at the front desk.
People of Determination
Wheelchairs and other mobility aides are welcome at the mandir. People of Determination will be given priority at the entry queue. Unfortunately, we cannot allow guide dogs or accompanying animals into the premises.
Photography, filming and recording
Photography and filming on mobile devices at the BAPS Hindu Mandir are allowed for personal, non-commercial use only.
Photography with cameras for private, commercial or journalistic purposes is only allowed with prior permission. This can be requested by emailing [email protected]
Authorized personnel at the BAPS Hindu Mandir may capture images of visitors for promotional and archival purposes. Visitors grant the Mandir the right to use those images for promotion, communication, and archiving, as long as visitors are not the primary subject.
